The year 2020 arrived like a tornado full of unpleasant events, bringing a summer completely stripped of the festivals we were so used to. This year, we won't be able to see each other at Untold, Electric Castle, Neversea, Summer Well, or the usual street-food events.
However, there is a saving grace to bring back at least a part of that outdoor vibe: an oasis of greenery, peace, and cool air right in the heart of Bucharest, on the shore of Lake Tei. So, we parked the Furgoneta on the terrace of Popas Nostalgia, at 50 Tuzla Street, filled with hope and joy. And above all, packed with the burgers that fill your soul, not just your stomach.
The atmosphere is just right for an outing to catch a cool breeze and enjoy some burgers, and the venue is extremely spacious. You can find a comfortable spot in the shade in a hammock, on a couch, or at a secluded table. The smiles we receive in exchange for every burger and the laughter heard at the tables night after night give us the feeling that good energy still exists in each of us. Life goes on, with care, with attention, and especially with respect for those around us.
Mornings here can be excellent for a coffee, but Popas Nostalgia is also a perfect refuge in the evening after a tiring day. The atmosphere comes alive under every tree, and nostalgic memories keep drifting from one person to another.
